Danni grew up on a mixed cropping and livestock enterprise near Leeton in Southern NSW. Now based on the Sunshine Coast in QLD, Danni is excited to take on the role of Seminis Sales Manager for Bayer Vegetable Seeds, ANZ.
What is it you like about working in the vegetable industry?
Our industry is bringing something valuable and essential to the consumer. I feel lucky to play a small part in delivering health, nutrition and flavour to everyday Aussies and Kiwis.
What is it you like about working at Bayer?
Through Bayer I have access to global vegetable experts, from R&D through to marketing, which means knowledge is just a conversation away. I also enjoy working closely with my colleagues right here in Australia and New Zealand; we have a diverse team who are passionate about vegetables and bringing value to growers’ businesses.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
Since moving to QLD I have tried to take up hiking, but I also have two small children who keep me busy when I am not thinking about vegetable seeds.
What is your favorite vegetable, and why?
Snacking tomatoes! I love the diversity in colour, size and flavour. It’s so easy to throw a few on my kids’ plate at dinner, snack on them during the workday, or make an impressive looking salad. Also, any vegetable that you can munch on while assessing in a trial is a bonus!

Danni has had a diverse career, mainly in agriculture, and leverages a wide set of skills and experiences to deliver results to the project or problem at hand. Danni has worked in the public relations and corporate affairs sector to advocate for growers at the Victorian Farmers Federation and later proceeded to become the National Marketing and Communications Manager at Emerald Grain. Danni is driven by her passion for global agriculture and modern food production and five and half years ago, she joined the Bayer Vegetable Seeds team as the Marketing and Communications Manager.
Since then Danni has worked in various roles within the business including marketing, product management and supply chain operations. Danni possesses an in-depth understanding of our product portfolios and thorough knowledge of the ANZ market. Danni is determined to help growers solve problems that really keep them awake at night and together with the local field team, will continue to bring to you the best varieties the world has to offer.
